Media seeks an actor and actress to be a part of a comedy web series that will chronicle four friends and their lives after layoffs.
Must be highly committed and have a good sense of humor! Shooting will tentatively begin at the end of April, and will take place on
the weekends and occasionally weeknights. We need to fill two of four lead roles. Descriptions are as follows: "Curtis": Male,
late twenties to early thirties to play oddball of the group. The character is bumbling and slow, but has a big heart and pushes his
friendship on the rest of the group. What he lacks in intelligence he makes up for in girth. He also has a strong affinity for heavy
metal and professional wrestling. Claims to be skilled in Judo and Tae Kwon Do."Melissa": White female in late twenties to early
thirties to play a perky but responsible college professor's assistant. Character is the mother figure of the group, and is very
prim, poised and feminine. Despite her togetherness, she has a promiscuous past that sometimes makes its way into conversation and

Audition Information for a Short Film

Wanted: 4 actors for Local Film
3 Black-American actors: 1 female age mid 20's-30's, 2 males: 1 mid 20's-30's;
1 age 50-70
1 White-American male: age 40-60's.

The audition requirements may change slightly for this production, however,
it is best that you prepare a 2-minute monologue and provide a resume and
headshot, if at all possible.
We will be shooting the film on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday February 13,
14, and 15, 8a-5p, but times will vary.

This will be shot on Super 16 film on location in Denton, Texas. This is a
student production associated through the Advanced Film Class at the
University of North Texas. We are a low/no budget film and will require your
work for free. However, depending on how far the commute, we will consider
fuel reimbursement. Your meals will be provided for as well. This film will
be submitted to film festivals and you are able to use this as a resume
builder. This is a great opportunity for new talent from the DFW area to get
involved with.
